Mother, friend, activist, and wife of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. passed today at the age of 78. Mrs. King was a very influential woman in America. She seemed like a beautiful and wonderful lady. I would have loved to have met her one day, but she has gone on to be with Martin. When I woke up this morning to see the news that she had passed, I thought she has accomplished so much in her life and she is such an inspiration to so many. She will go down in history for her contributions to the world. I could only hope to one day make that kind of impact on someone.
Okay, ya'll, so I'm back to watching American Idol and I just had to post this clip of Gospel/R&B singer Ann Nesby's granddaughter Paris Bennett. I think she is the best I've heard so far during this years audition process. My thing is I don't get why her grandmother didn't or maybe couldn't help her get a recording contract?
